This is probably going to be a gong show. There hasn’t been an Ex-Boyfriends show for a couple of months now; the superfans have become rabid. Meanwhile, the Sharp Ends are becoming super famous and fancy. I swear I saw Dan LaPlante getting a facial last week at the new Holt Renfrew. I bet they will arrive in a limo to this show. Doesn’t a limo make WAY more sense as a band vehicle than any other kind. Of course, a private jet is the ultimate, but when you are on land, a limo seems to be the way to go. Anyways, The Wicked Awesomes from Edmonton are coming down for this show too — proof of more amazing Albertan talent. I haven’t seen Language Arts yet but I have heard good things on their Myspace. They are coming all the way from Vancouver for this show, so please get there early and make sure you don’t miss their show. They sound super sweet and might be appreciated more by people who are actually coherently listening to the music and not just crawling around on the floor looking for the Lucky beer they dropped.
